Rego & Nakoa Help Families & Kūpuna at Reasonable Fees

This Is How Simple, Convenient, & At A Reasonable Cost For You!

We know the importance of listening and understanding your needs and concerns. Our first step is to send you a questionnaire.

Attorneys Rego & Nakoa will thoroughly review the information you provide, speak with you in detail, and sign an attorney client agreement.

We make estate planning safe, easy, and accessible. You’ll never have to visit our office until signing, unless you want to meet directly.

We will schedule a phone call or a zoom meeting via video conference or phone (you can choose from the comfort of your home). In our meeting, we’ll ask follow up questions, answer your questions, listen to your concerns, make recommendations, and arrange payments.

We will prepare draft documents based on the information you’ve provided and send them to you for your review. We will meet and review again by phone call or a video zoom conference.

We can send digital files for you to print and sign, or we can mail the documents directly to you. We can sign in our offices at Waianae, Honolulu, or at a location near and comfortable for you with instructions for a notary and witnesses. The documents have no legal effect until they have been executed.

Once you’ve properly signed the documents, we will file all real property documents with the State of Hawaii & instruct you how to fund the Trust. You keep the originals in a safe place. You save money & your time.

We have two offices to serve you and assist you at reasonable prices.

Trust Administration

Rego & Nakoa advise trustees and beneficiaries during the administration of a trust, accounting and record keeping. We help transfer assets out of the trust to the beneficiaries under Hawai`i’s new Uniform Trust Law. We can help to revoke or terminate a trust. We can also represent beneficiaries’ rights.

Probate

Rego & Nakoa represent personal representatives in the probate process. We have the skills to effectively handle the administration of estates of any size, ranging from simple estates to large and complex estates. Let us assist you at reasonable fees.

The whole purpose of doing trusts is to avoid the probate stage. However, if you find yourself in a probate, Rego & Nakoa will represent the personal representative in the probate.
